| The Sites of the Gwangju Biennale
2004 will be exhibitions in which, unlike the Theme Exhibitions presenting
teams of artists and Viewer-participants, the general public will
be producers and participants. The four Site Exhibitions will present
new research and up-to-date activities taking place in the world,
in Asia, in Korea, and in Gwangju, all according to the general thematic
of the Biennale, one that enlarges the passage between daily life
and art by offering a space for participation and a richer source
of cultural communications for the spectator. |
